Arab Steel Summit 2011 The «Arab Steel Summit 2011»
is to be organized by the Arab Iron and Steel Union (AISU) and scheduled in the
period 4-6 April 2011 in Doha, Qatar, a region which sees an
immense growth in demand for iron and steel products and major expansion
projects in this industry. Likewise, Arab steel markets see continued demand for
steel products and an active movement regarding setting up many industries
depending on, and connected with, steel products, a fact which makes these
markets a regional and international hub for many investments, in addition to
its active location within the world trade activity.
Hence, we look forward to
hold this important event under the title of «Arab Steel Summit 2011» as a
convention for many Arab and international companies, steel industry experts,
technologies stakeholders and the parties involved in this industry of
investors, businessmen and economic activities. This summit comes as a
continuation of thesuccesses seen in all the previous AISU annual events, the
last of which was the «ArabSteel Summit 2010» held in Marrakech, Morocco.
In conjunction with the «Arab
Steel Summit 2011», the Arab Iron and Steel Union organizes the «International
Steel Exhibition 2011» which will provide a good setting for companies to
exhibit their iron and steel products, and for new technical creations and
solutions that help enhance the productivity of iron and steel industry, in
addition to providing a suitable place of meeting for producers, companies and
institutions active in the steel industry.
We, as the Arab Iron and
Steel Union, comprising more than 86 companies from 18 Arab countries, the
production of which represents about 90% of the overall Arab steel output,
welcome your active participation in the «Arab Steel Summit 2011». We also
invite you to contribute to this meeting by presenting working papers reflecting
your viewpoints and experiences in any subject related to the development of
this industry at both regional and international levels, and also to contribute
with your recommendations to make this event a medium to exchange opinions on
whatever issue that serves the development, integration and sustainable growth
of this industry on all production, commercial and market levels.
