The «Arab Steel Summit 2011» is to be organized by the Arab Iron and Steel Union (AISU) and scheduled in the period 4-6 April 2011 in Doha, Qatar,  a region which sees an immense growth in demand for iron and steel products and major expansion projects in this industry. Likewise, Arab steel markets see continued demand for steel products and an active movement regarding setting up many industries depending on, and connected with, steel products, a fact which makes these markets a regional and international hub for many investments, in addition to its active location within the world trade activity.

Hence, we look forward to hold this important event under the title of «Arab Steel Summit 2011» as a convention for many Arab and international companies, steel industry experts, technologies stakeholders and the parties involved in this industry of investors, businessmen and economic activities. This summit comes as a continuation of thesuccesses seen in all the previous AISU annual events, the last of which was the «ArabSteel Summit 2010» held in Marrakech, Morocco.

In conjunction with the «Arab Steel Summit 2011», the Arab Iron and Steel Union organizes the «International Steel Exhibition 2011» which will provide a good setting for companies to exhibit their iron and steel products, and for new technical creations and solutions that help enhance the productivity of iron and steel industry, in addition to providing a suitable place of meeting for producers, companies and institutions active in the steel industry.
