Rebar on an upward trend in Jordan for the second week in a row

ArabSteel – Rebar mills in Jordan have announced higher quotes for their rebar products, according to the index pricelist issued by the Jordanian Chamber of Industry in cooperation with steel mills in Jordan. These prices are to be effective for one week starting Monday, Jan. 25th. This rise is the second in a row during a fortnight's time.
According to the pricelist, applicable rebar ex-works price as of Monday will be JD 420-435 ($592-613) per ton grade 40. The price reaches JD 454-470 per ton after adding 8% of tax on sales. It is a rise of JD 10 over last week's price of JD 410-426 ($579-601) per ton.
In addition, ex-works price of rebar grade 60 is up by a similar value, becoming at JD 425-440 ($599-620) per ton, according to the quotes list. Compared to the price of last week which was at JD 415-431 ($576-607) per ton. Thus, after adding tax on sales, the price shall range between JD 459 and 475 per ton.
