Ezz Steel raises prices of long products for February

ArabSteel – Ezzsteel announced its rebar quotes for February, adding EGP 230 (nearly $40) to the previous price. It is also expected that the rest of Egyptian steel companies shall raise their quotes approximately the same as Ezzsteel.
Thus, rebar ex-works price now reached EGP 3280 ($606) per ton, compared to EGP 3050 ($564) for January.
Consumer prices shall differ according to distribution zones. Hence, Ezzsteel quoted EGP 3400 in Cairo and its suburbs, EGP 3440 in the northern part of Upper Egypt and EGP 3470 in the southern part.
