Minimum rebar quotes up in Jordan market

ArabSteel - Minimum rebar quotes in the Jordanian market went up by JD 5 ($US 7) per ton, while maximum quotes remained stable, according to the index pricelist issued by the Jordanian Chamber of Industry in cooperation with steel mills in Jordan effective for one week as of Monday.
Therefore, applicable rebar ex-works price ranged between JD 425-435 ($US 599-613) per ton grade 40 free-on-truck, and JD 459-470 per ton when adding 8% of tax on sales, compared to JD 420-435 for the past week.
Meanwhile, ex-works price of rebar grade 60 ranges around JD 430-440 ($US 606-620) per ton, after it had been around JD 425-440 last week. Thus, after adding tax on sales, the price shall range between JD 464 and 475 per ton.
