 More than SYP 1 bln of sales in Hadid Hamah during 9 months

The General Company of Iron & Steel Products (Hadid Hamah) in Hamah, Syria produced 41,977 tons of high and medium tensile rebar in the first 9 months of 2010 in the worth of SYP 1.141 billion.
Eng. Badee' Shannan, General Manager, says that the company also produced 38,949 tons of steel billets during the aforementioned period, in addition to 120,000t of forged steel. The company sold products amounting nearly to 37,000t of rebar in the worth of $10.260 million.
Mr. Shannan pointed out that the scrap melt-shop received machines for pouring liquid steel from the Indian company Apollo, along with water cooling circuits and 4 mobile bridges within the framework of the plant development project.
