 Ukrainian crude steel production to increase in June

 According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in June this year Ukraine''s crude steel production will increase by 2.5% compared to April to 3.07 million tonnes.
According to Metallurgprom''s forecast, pig iron output in Ukraine will reach 2.5 million tonnes in June while production of rolled steel will rise to 2.73 million tonnes.
In April this year, Ukraine''s crude steel production had decreased by 3% compared to March to 2.995 million tonnes. In January to April 2011 crude steel output in Ukraine increased by 5.8% compared to the same period of 2010, climbing to 11.631 million tonnes.
